























“[…] One characteristic of Eduard Flor’s oeuvre is working with series, based on a theme. Themes which among other things have human behavior, science, travel, reminiscence of nature as a point of departure.
Repeatedly, his own experiences are determining for the image that comes into being. The images slowly, but surely distance themselves from the representation of observed reality and change into ideograms: almost impersonal signs, which offer the viewer space to interpret them in their own way.
The experience of the artist demands involvement of the viewer, only then the image becomes complete.
[…] The clover is nothing more than a sign — repeatable as as fugue — with which the aim is attained: the conversion of a personal experience into a common one.”
